ASRS for RETAL INDUSTRIES, Russia

EFACEC has just been awarded an order for the supply of an automatic warehouse and handling systems for pallets, octabin type, estimated at 3 M€, to be erected in the Moscow factory of RETAL INDUSTRIES, an European multinational group.

The automated warehouse is equipped with double deep shelves with capacity for 20,144 pallets and 23 metres high, 4 stacker cranes and several entrance / exit conveyors, controlled by a warehouse managing system. The conveying system is based on 2 x LGVs (laser guided vehicles), automatic packaging, strapping and labelling system integrated in thewarehouse entrance system and 6 shipping platforms based on automated accumulation conveyors with a capacity of 504 pallets. All the conveying system is monitored by a Handling Management System.

The RETAL INDUSTRIES group which started business in Russia, has already 13 packaging manufacturing units — PET Preform type, in eight European countries (including Russia).
