In January 2008, our parent company, EFACEC Automação e Robótica, S.A., has been awared by Aeropuetos Argentina 2000 of supplying the Baggage Handling System for the new passenger terminal of Montevideo Airport in Uruguay. 

The value of the project is approximately 3 million USD.

The major scope of supply includes:

• 38 check-ins units with 2 belt each

• 6 scales for standard baggage

• 1 scale for oversize baggage

• 6 collecting lines

• 55 linear conveyors (approximately de 500 meters)

• 26 curves

• 2 vertisorters

• 18 buffer conveyors

• 2 make-up carrousels of inclined overlapped slats with 57 meters

• 3 reclaim carrousels of horizontal overlapped slats- 2 units with 62 meters and 1 unit with 116 meters

• 16 fire proof doors

• Control system based in PLC        

• Scada Supervision System

• 1 lot of spare parts
